Trades Generalist
-Performs journey level masonry work and will perform multiple tasks and projects associated with the maintenance, repair and installation of various masonry and plaster features throughout Jones Beach State Park. -Perform general maintenance, including but not limited to, concrete and brick walkway repair, and asphalt roadway repair. -Operate powered equipment such as hammer drills, wet saws, plate compactor, and small hand tools. -The incumbent will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of associated tools and equipment as assigned. -Order supplies and equipment as needed. -Load, carry, or unload material of varying weight and sizes as required. -Perform other duties as required and assist other trades positions.

Salary Range:
From $21.24 to $21.24 Hourly
Minimum Qualification
-Four years of full-time experience in masonry under a skilled tradesperson which would provide training equivalent to that given in a training, apprenticeship, or equivalent program; or an equivalent combination of experience and training gained by completion of technical courses in skilled trades at a school, institute, or branch of the Armed Services. -When required to operate motor vehicles, candidates must possess a valid New York State driver's license appropriate for the type of vehicle to be operated.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
